The South West Phoenix FC strategic development plan incorporates the structure to deliver the State League title and then to be promoted to the NPL.Teams consist of Seniors, Reserves and Youth (u18s) teams, these teams provide the continuing pathway for the elite juniors in the South West region.
The continuing strength and development of senior teams; similar to junior teams is based on attracting qualified and experienced coaches who can deliver programs required to challenge and develop players that are looking to compete at the next level of elite sport.
A whole club approach of developing players from a young age through their own personal development and to provide all players the opportunity to develop at their desired level, and commitment level, is intrinsic to the clubs ethos.
South West Phoenix FC will provide leadership in player and coach development, through the delivery of value based, quality programs and services.Every player is an individual with dreams, aspirations, and talents, which can be developed. We believe that all players, regardless of level of play, deserve the opportunity to enjoy the game of soccer and develop to his or her full potential. We believe in the principles of long-term player development. Scientific research in athlete performance has demonstrated that it takes eight to twelve years of training for players to reach elite levels. It indicates the importance of long-term training for obtaining athletic excellence and competitive results, hence the complete development of a whole club that incorporates juniors from a young age.
